Moss stitch cowl/ circle scarf

I can't believe it's already March, which means spring is almost here!

It's not even remotely cold where I live but I love knitting so I recently made an infinity scarf or cowl, whatever you want to call it. I absolutely love it! The color, the texture, everything! And, since it's super easy to make, I wanted to share it with you guys. So here's the tutorial:

This is a super simple pattern, it only uses the two most basic stitches: knit and purl. All you're going to need is some yarn and size 9 knitting needles. I used one skein of  7oz/198g with 364yds/333m acrylic worsted weight yarn.

Instructions:

-Cast on a multiple of 4 stitches. I cast on 36 stitches because I thought that would be a good width for the cowl.
-Rows 1 & 2: *K2, p2; repeat from * to end
-Rows 3 & 4: *P2, k2; repeat from * to end
-Repeat rows 1-4 until your scarf measures about 70 inches long. Bind off.
-Using a tapestry needle, sew the cast on side to the bind off side to form a hoop.

And you're done!

Thanks for reading and have a great day! :)
